We are seeking an infusion nurse (RN) with TPN experience interested in providing in-home Teach and Train and lab services for a local patient.
Infusion Details:
- Medication: TPN & Hydration
- Weekly Labs - CBC w diff, CMP, MG, Phos, CRP, Triglycerides, and Prealbumin.
- 3 Month Labs - Completed Outpatient
- Location: Casper, WY 82601
- Access: Power PortTP
- Pump: Curlin Pump
- Dates of Service:
- Teach and Train Visit #1- HYDRATION - 5/9 following delivery of medication and supplies.
- Teach & Train Visit #2 (if needed) - HYDRATION - 5/10
- Hydration Lab Draw & Dressing Change - Monday, 5/12
- Teach and Train Visit #1- TPN - 5/13
- Teach & Train Visit #2 (if needed) - TPN - 5/14
- Initial Lab Draw & 3rd T&T if needed - 5/15 - CBC w diff, CMP, MG, Phos, CRP, Triglycerides, and Prealbumin.
- First Weekly Lab Draw & Dressing changes - 5/19 or 5/20 and weekly ongoing.
Preferences:
- The patient prefers an AM start time.
- The patient prefers a female RN.
- The RN must have knowledge of TPN, Curlin Pumps, and access type.
Responsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse
- Deliver TPN Teach and Train and lab draw services directly to the patient in the comfort of their home.
- Make a meaningful impact by leveraging your clinical IV expertise and compassionate care to support patients within their environment.
- Provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education aligned with the physician's treatment plan.
- Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other collaborative partners.
Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse:
- Active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- TPN experience, preferable in the home
- A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are required, with access to a vehicle for business-related travel
- A clear background check
